Jennifer was born in Canterbury in 1983. She graduated from the University of Kent with an upper 2.1 BA Honours degree in English Literature. She has completed a BMus at Canterbury ChristChurch University where she was awarded a 1st Class degree. The University also awarded Jennifer a full scholarship to study for a Master of Music for 2009/2010, which she completed with Merit, and Distinction for performance. Jennifer also completed the Opera Performance course at Birkbeck University London in which she performed several operatic roles and has been involved in operatic workshops with The Co-Operative Opera Company working with Mary Plazas, Sally Burgess, William Relton, Janice Kelly, Stephen Wilder and others. Jennifer teaches singing privately and in schools, and coaches the Stage Catz Astor Theatre group. She is also a writer and has written several books of poetry and prose.
