Alex Wilson and his four piece Latin powergroup present 'Aventuras', a project that takes the listener on a series of adventures around the Americas and the Caribbean. With percussion provided by Colombian Emeris Solis and Cuban Luis Carlos Fuentes and Bass by Italian Davide Mantovani, they fuse improvised jazz with the folkloric music of Colombia, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Cuba, all driven by Alex's incendiary piano playing. It’s a testament to the vibrancy and diversity of the London music scene today and a fresh perspective on Latin Jazz.
