The Event - MINDFUL Arts festival
Britain's top artists rally together to raise awareness on mental health. Jake and Dinos Chapman, Mat Collishaw, Sebastian Horsley,Sarah Lucas and Tessa Farmer will be showing work at an exhibition curated by Stuart Semple at The Old Vic Tunnels to to raise awareness and funds for vital creative therapies throughout the UK in connection with the charity Mind. The Life Drawing Class - Saturday 24th
In this amazing setting, surrounded by the work of these fantastic artist, the Life Drawing Models will lurk in the corners of the tunnels, presenting tableaux of expressiong concerned with mental health, raising awareness and creating inspiration for creative, art savants and the mingeling guests.
This class and exhibition will raise funds for a new creative arts fund being established by contemporary artist and curator of the show Stuart Semple as his first duty as an ambassador for the charity. The fund will enable those in distress to access new creative therapies to be provided through the network of around 160 Local Minds across England and Wales, harnessing the power of the arts to develop, maintain and encourage positive mental health.
