David Dondero is a US singer/songwriter whose narrative-rich folk music is often compared to troubadour greats such as Woody Guthrie and Townes Van Zandt.

Not your average folky, he began his musical journey as drummer in US punk band This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb. David is currently on Conor Oberst's Team Love Records label and has toured with such acts as Bright Eyes, Tilly and the Wall, Spoon, and Willy Mason. Support comes from UK poet/songwriter James McKay.

In 2006, US National Public Radio (NPR) named David one of the "best living songwriters" alongside Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney and Tom Waits.

A unique opportunity to see David perform in the Scottish Storytelling Centre.
