LOADED LAFTAS SEARCH FOR A STAR FINAL - TUESDAY 6TH DECEMBER

As if the likes of Jimmy Carr, Russell Brand and Michael McIntyre wasn’t enough proof, loaded and YAZOO, the nation’s favourite milkshake, successfully unearthed another comedy gem last year through our loaded LAFTAS with YAZOO Search For A Star award. South Londoner Jason Patterson was crowned our winner, after beating a ton of hopefuls, and has gone on to make quite the name for himself on Britain’s comedy circuit in 2011.

Now, Search For A Star is back. We’re looking for Britain’s funniest new talent, and the good news is the winner will be chosen by loaded’s army of readers. All you have to do is come along to the regional heats and help choose the winners who’ll progress to the semi-finals. You’ll see a great night of live comedy thrown in as well.

loaded and YAZOO’s Search For A Star will take place over five regional heats in October, before two semi-finals in November and the final in December.

The five regional nights take place at various venues, and the competition is aimed at comics performing their own material, who have already started to make a name at their local comedy circuits. Who wins will completely be down to the loaded readers at the event.
