Hailed by Songlines magazine as “another milestone in folk’s rebirth of cool moment”, Peter Knight's Gigspanner is a trio formed by the legendary fiddle player best known for his ongoing 40 year association with folk-rock pioneers Steeleye Span.
Peter is a stalwart of the British Folk scene, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, highly respected improviser and Patron of the Fiddle Festival of Britain.
The trio, also featuring Roger Flack (Guitar) and Vincent Salzfaas (Congas/Djembe), has been receiving a wealth of plaudits from the music press for both their live and recorded work.
