It’s time that the small village of Long Ducking had a plan, a village plan, a plan for tourism, leisure, sport, healthcare and education. A plan for the future! At least that’s what village stalwarts Timothy & Cynthia think. But bringing Long Ducking into the twenty first century is going to be an up hill struggle. The village shop scrapes by, the pub is on its last legs and the one and only land mark, the clock on the village green, stopped working in August 1964...
Day-Star were well known as a touring (by boat) theatre company. Six summers ago saw the final Waterways Tour but Day-Star are still based on the Shropshire Union Canal at The Old Stables, Audlem, Cheshire. From here they take their original and highly relevant plays to village halls and small theatres as well as workshops in schools and Roses and Castles painting weekends.
