Andy Irvine is literally as big a name as you can imagine in the folk music world. In a career spanning 45 years, his biography and multiple musical associations read like a who's who of traditional Irish Music, having been an integral part of great bands such as Sweeney's Men, the legendary Planxty alongside Christy Moore, Donal Lunny and Liam O'Flynn, Patrick Street with Jackie Daly, Arty McGlynn and Kevin Burke, as well as acclaimed solo work and collaborations with the likes of Paul Brady and Dick Gaughan.
