Come and enjoy an exciting concert of two contrasting halves...and featuring one of world's most renowned bouzouki players, Manolis Pappos.
In the first part Manolis Pappos joins Plastikes Karekles, an eclectic fusion of international classical musicians and Greek folk musicians, to play the group's own arrangements of music by Theodorakis, Hadjidakis and Xarhakos.
For the second part, a programme of more traditional Rebetiko music, they are joined by musicians based in London and visiting from Greece, to form a big band of bouzoukia, baglamas, accordeons, violins, other traditional instruments and singers. A sound like you've never heard before...NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!!
