Hot on the wonderful heels of our second sell out event "It's a Wonderful Vintage Love Boat Ball" on Friday 17 February, we are delighted to be straight back at you with our next wonderful do of 2012.

The uniquely titled "It's a Wonderful Vintage Jubilee Jamboree" - lets... dress up and swing dance like its 1952-53... will be taking place on Saturday 19 May 2012 at TWO top London vintage venues. Yes that's right... you will get access to two parties with one ticket!

For one night only, at both The Queens Head pub and The Water Rats Theatre music venue, we will be recreating the pomp, ceremony and 'Festival of Britain' era when dearest Queenie took over the throne from her father King George VI....! Think vintage regal glamour all the way... so for ladies that's bejewelled ball gowns, fitted wiggle dresses, royal tiaras, and stoles as well as tea dresses and big underskirts...and for men...it's tails, top hats and regal military attire, or just your dapper and dandy Sunday best. All this festooned with lashings of union jack bunting, vintage royal memorabilia, homemade cakes, cucumber sandwiches and quirk... ...Sounds wonderful...? You betcha!

We will be bringing you once again, the best in live swinging sounds, the cream of Londons jazz R&B DJ's and mixing it all up with a special old time music hall variety section of the evening... think magic tricks, sing alongs, burlesque and vintage comedy capers... and all this until 1am...!

We might well be heading for a double dip recession in 2012, so let us take you (for one night only) on a uniquely wonderful journey back in time... to 1952... when Britain was booming, the entire country was partner swing dancing... and cool Britannia definitely ruled the waves.

This is a strictly vintage dress up experience, so please join us in your regal jubilee finery for an afternoon and night of royal jubilations and celebrations in another very special, unique vintage London venue.

The Queens Head, Kings Cross - 3.30pm-7.00pm (London's finest real ale pub)
Warm up jamboree knees up with old fashioned piano sing along and vintage jazz, featuring songs and stories from ukelele legend Mr John Barnes, vintage hair and make up salon, home made cakes and cucumber sandwiches, tarot readings and lashings of real ale.

Featuring live swing and jazz from the Wavy Tones and old time music hall entertainment acts, burlesque performances, vintage inspired fashion show in association with Vivien of Holloway.... and much much more!!
