Featuring Paul Cook from the Sex Pistols on drums, this looks set to be another legendary night at the Trades Club! Subway Sect began in 1976 when Vic Godard & co, who regularly attended Sex Pistols shows, were encouraged to form a band by Malcolm McClaren. They performed at the 100 Club festival that same year sharing a bill with the Pistols, The Clash & The Banshees. Signed to Clash manager Bernie Rhodes' label they released debut single 'Nobody's Sacred' in 1978 & album 'What's the Matter Boy?' followed in 1980. The archetypal cult band, Subway Sect re-united in 2011 with some blistering live shows.
