MALCOLM HOLCOMBE hails from the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina. He has a joyously gruff voice, a life drenched in the blues and folk, acoustic guitar in hand, head shaking, while howling out bruising numbers. His brand of Americana is about as potent as it can get — gutsy, rootsy, bluesy, songs in which Holcombe’s lyrics mark him a wordsmith of legend proportions, comfortably perched on the upper rungs. He is touring in support of his new album, Down the River, which will be released in August 2012.
PLEASE NOTE: DOORS OPEN: 7pm, MUSIC STARTS AT 9pm.
The venue comprises both seated and standing space. There are a limited number of seats which are allocated on a first come first served basis. If you’d like a seat, please ensure you arrive early.
