Deep Joy Quartet
The Deep Joy Quartet features Paul Dunmall on sax, Paul Rogers on bass and two drummers – Mark Sanders and Miles Levin. The group was formed for the Birmingham Memorial Concert for Tony Levin and features Tony's son Miles as one of the drummers.
The contrasting styles of Miles and Mark Sanders, driving on saxophonist Paul Dunmall supported by Paul Rogers' amazing bass playing, makes this a very exciting band and one that exemplifies the excellence of British free jazz playing.
