Mathrock from James Sedwards & co with support from avant guard sax-led trio, A Sweet Niche and Alex Ward's Dead Days Beyond Help.

Nøught is an experimental / progressive / noise rock / hardcore punk /
purely instrumental group from London. Originally formed in Oxford in
the late 90's by guitarist James Sedwards, the current line-up has
been active in London since 2002. Their music is often highly
challenging and their incendiary live performances can be very
demanding yet exhilarating to audience members. Their pieces range
from the extremes of short and catchy three minute bursts to long and
slowly developing mantras that can hypnotise listeners for up to
twenty minutes. Nøught stand alone in the world of music as resolutely
underivative and continually striving to develop their own musical
language.

Dead Days Beyond Help are Alex Ward (guitar/vocals) and Jem Doulton (drums). They formed in 2006 and played their first show in February 2007, and have performed regularly in London and around the UK since then. Their debut album "Access Denied!" (Copepod, 2009) featured a set of 9 compositions (6 instrumentals and 3 songs) written by Ward; while a subsequent limited edition release "The Verbing" (Copepod, 2011) showcased the duo's totally improvised work. Since mid-2009, all of DDBH's new material has been composed collaboratively by Ward and Doulton in band rehearsals. The first fruits of this process are featured on the album "The Game Face", to be released in 2012. A subsequent album's worth of material has also been written. Their live performances feature an unpredictable mix of complex composed instrumentals, free improvisation, cover versions selected for maximum emotional resonance, and Alex's own songs, spontaneously balanced by the two musicians without use of a set-list.
