He’s been described as “a complete guitarist,” “a singer songwriter of rare talent” and “absurdly accomplished.” He’s toured with John Renbourn, Maggie Boyle, WAZ, Ballet Rambert and with his daughter Martha. The writer of the classics The Slipjigs and Reels, The Naked Highwayman and Here’s to Tom Paine; his songs have been covered by a who’s who of the folk scene. His 5-CD boxed-set retrospective Reaching Back is a fitting celebration of the life and music of one of our finest performers.
