Sonic R- New release produced by Ride's Mark Gardiner, the drone psych lineage of Velvets/Spacemen3/Stereolab and indeed Ride is done massive justice here -a fabulous dark fuzzcore happening.
Me&D- 2 gals play with much style and deft touch- and harmonize very convincingly. A soul/pop/folk stew with tons of charm.
Houkas-Rousing Funk rock with infectious beats, jangly guitars and thumping bass ..Prince, via MGMT dancetastic!
Emily C - feat. Hywel from Howl Griff and Toby form Noisettes , a PJ Harvey/ White Stripes/Elastica gone U.S windswept and dustballed vibe...
