Georg Khan's Burning Horizon
Iconic saxophonist George Khan has always been known and loved for pushing musical boundaries and for his colourful and flamboyant approach to performance. He has always been equally at home playing rock, jazz and improvised music and the Burning Horizon band covers all these genres and more.
A pivotal member of Mike Westbrook's Solid Gold Cadillac, George has always had strong links with the theatre and has been musical director for the groundbreaking People Show for many years. 2011 saw the release of 'P.S. with love' (33 Records), exceptional music written by George for numerous People Show productions.
The Burning Horizon band was formed in the wake of that album and comprises Pete Lemer (piano), Brian Godding (guitar), Charlie Hart (bass and fiddle) and Dave Fowler (drums).
The barriers are gone, the horizon is burning, the band will stop at nothing!
