Our second concert is a programme of contrasts: the baroque purity of Bach and the romanticism of Strauss; the classical delicacy of Mozart and the nationalistic fervour of Kodaly. To add to this exciting prospect, the concert features some of the orchestra's most talented players. Our leader, Tessa, will be joined by Beverley for the Bach Double Violin Concerto and the wind section have the opportunity to show off their skills in the Strauss and Kodaly. An ever popular Mozart symphony completes this vibrant programme.
