Seminar for artists looking at the distribution and promotion of artists' moving image. It will explore the various historical contexts, conceptual concerns and practical issues facing artists working with moving image. The seminar will chaired by LUX Director, Benjamin Cook with the following speakers: Professor Julia Knight, author of 'Reaching Audiences Distribution and Promotion of Alternative Moving Image', Gil Leung, Distribution Manager at LUX and Editor of VERSUCH journal and Marialaura Ghidini, curator, researcher and founder director of the web-based curatorial platform www.or-bits.com.
