Sport can help improve the quality of life for individuals. But how accessible is sport and are all groups given the same opportunities to participate? In the current economic climate, are young people able to reap the benefits that sport can offer? Are some sports more exclusive than others? Does this help to reinforce stereotypes? Chaired by John Park MSP, with panellists John Beattie, rugby player and broadcaster; Kim Atkinson, Policy Director of the Scottish Sports Association; Liz McColgan, former athlete and Olympic medallist, and Alison Walker, sports journalist and TV presenter.
