Does contemporary architecture and planning respond to a unique sense of the place or reflect an international art that crosses national boundaries? Is Scottish identity and the perception of Scotland defined and shaped by our buildings and places? These are some of the issues we will address in a Question Time-style debate, chaired by Neil Baxter, Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, with panellists Riccardo Marini, City of Edinburgh Council; developer and architect Andrew Burrell; Joan McAlpine MSP; Kevin Murray, Kevin Murray Associates; and architect Malcolm Fraser.
In association with the Scottish Parliament’s Cross-Party Group on Architecture and the Built Environment and supported by the RIAS and the RTPI.
