Donky Pitch w/ ARP 101, Elliott Yorke, Ghost Mutt +

This October we celebrate two milestones, the second birthday of our label and the launch of a 12" from ARP 101 x Elliott Yorke. To mark this auspicious occasion we have invited both ARP 101 and Elliott Yorke down to the Green Door Store for an evening of unique live music and two Brighton debuts.

ARP 101 –

ARP 101 has steadily made a name for himself via releases on Eglo (Alexander Nut/Floating Points) and remixes for the likes of Slugabed, Bonobo, Starkey and Jehst. Combining funk filled synthlines, neck snapping beats and thugged out basslines, ARP 101 makes the kind of heavy, colour filled cosmic boom bap that is totally at home on the donky dancefloor. This will be ARP’s first ever Brighton show.

Elliott Yorke –

Elliott Yorke has released solo efforts on Project Mooncircle/Finest Ego and forms one half of London based funkateers Royalty. Bringing a unique take on rap beat instrumentals and fully fledged club bangers, alongside a background of boogie, Elliott was already well on our radar before we heard the collaborations with ARP 101. Elliott makes a rare live appearance for us as well as it being his Brighton debut.

Ghost Mutt –

Following the release of the Sweat Mode EP on Donky Pitch to universal acclaim at the start of 2012 (following previous drops on Lowriders and remixes for Jon Phonics), our esteemed resident plays his first Brighton show in a while. Recently Ghost Mutt has been busy taking his sound to festivals and clubs across the continent, for this party he is dropping the tempo and bringing a distinctly boogie flavour to proceedings
