Deirdre Cartwright Quartet
From presenting BBC TV's Rockschool in the 1980s and touring in the much loved The Guest Stars, Deirdre Cartwright continues to develop as an imaginative guitarist and composer.

She is joined tonight by members of her original quartet – Steve Lodder (keyboards), Alison Rayner (bass)and Winston Clifford (drums) – to perform an eclectic set from 70’s funky shuffles, jazz swing, original compositions to high-octane fusion.

Steve Lodder is a superb improviser (George Russell, Andy Sheppard) and Alison Rayner and Winston Clifford move from depth and textures to crackling funk seamlessly.
