Having played his way from the basement to the studio, whilst captivating fans from YouTube to shows up and down the country, it’s no surprise that Billy’s been attracting attention from some of the biggest names in the industry. With the backing of Yamaha alongside working with top producers, his flair for piano and guitar has landed him a distinctive style, aided by a soulful voice, charming lyrics and enough allure to leave crowds muttering choruses into the night... and you thought Northampton only made good shoes?

Billy’s lived in Northampton his whole life, yet it only clicked that he wanted to make something of himself when he turned 16. “You can’t win if you don’t play” is a quote that sticks out for him as he reminisces about the days he used to 7-ball all the drunks at the local pub. Although blessed with musical talent, Billy never realised he could truly make something of himself until he actually played the cards he’d been dealt and took his music upstairs from the basement. “One day I thought to myself, get out of your room and work on your music... Show people why you’re doing it and what you’re capable of...”

Having had his first two singles self-released singles played on BBC Radio 1, XFM and all over the country, including a BBC Introducing Playlist, and having completed a debut 14 date UK tour; Billy is now writing and recording with a handful of top professionals (Guy Chambers) ahead of putting out his debut album in 2013.
