Many will remember New Jersey born singer-songwriter and guitarist, Dennis Locorriere from his past as former frontman of 70's hit makers Dr Hook. With memorable songs such as 'Sylvia's Mother' and 'When You're in Love with a Beautiful Woman', the band garnered more than sixty gold and platinum albums, gaining No. 1 chart status in more than 42 different countries.

But Dr Hook is only really the early part of Dennis' story because for more than 30 years he's paid his dues. He's appeared in a major movie with Dustin Hoffman. He's starred at New York's prestigious Lincoln Center in a universally acclaimed one man play The Devil And Billy Markham written by Shel Silverstein especially for him. He's written songs that have been recorded by a wide variety of other artists including Bob Dylan, Crystal Gayle, Waylon Jennings, Helen Reddy and Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton & Loretta Lynn.

Locorriere has toured as a member of Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings (2008) and has contributed his distinctive and charismatic vocals for other artists such as Randy Travis (1987's Always and Forever album).

Locorriere has a voice which is immediately recognised the world over but his own story is now so much more than Dr Hook. With several solo albums, live DVDs and even a poetry book to his name, Dennis continues to wow audiences, having played to over 1,000,000 people in the UK alone on his own tours.

Dennis' current Point Zero Tour reaches Surrey's Farncombe Music Club, in Godalming, on Friday 7th June.

Dennis describes his live shows as: "Just me, a guitar and lots and lots of great songs." ...Not to mention his acerbic wit, engaging audience repartee and amusing anecdotes gleaned from over many decades in the business.
