John Williams is an Australian classical guitarist and composer.
Most famous for his performance of 'Cavatina' for the film 'The Deer Hunter', John has also been awarded several prestigous awards:

- A Grammy for his performance with Julian Bream - 'Julian & John' (1973)
- A BRIT Award for best performance with his piece 'Portrait of John Williams' (1983)
- An Edison Lifetime Achievement Award (2007)


This concert will be held in the Nave of the Cathedral - Programme to be announced...

Lincoln Minster music department will also be supporting the concert with performances from the students at the beginning of the evening.
