LISKEARD: St Martin's Church

It was Mozart who famously described the pipe organ as "The King of Instruments". St Martin's Church in Liskeard has a wonderful Lewis organ which is widely regarded as one of the finest instruments in Cornwall. Jonathan will be putting this instrument through its paces playing a wide range of music from famous organ works to transcriptions of orchestral pieces. The programme will include his own Variations on Trelawny, Widor's Toccata from Symphony no. 5 and Elgar's Nimrod.
