Southgate Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Adrian Brown, is joined by trumpeter Max Bronstein for this programme which highlights a diverse range of instruments. From Mozart's 'Magic Flute Overture', through Haydn's breathtaking 'Trumpet Concerto' and Barber's tranquil 'Adagio for Strings'. The evening ends with the "Organ Symphony" (Symphony no. 3) in which Saint-Saens pulls out all the stops and gives "everything to it I was able to give". Unallocated seating.
