We're going to let the bands decide who headlines when they get all the way here. Probably by flipping a coin, Ouija board or a band vs band arm wrestle. We're very informal as you know.
We've hopefully got coffee being sorted by a fellow Ouseburn company and a small bakery will be run by an equally popular Newcastle baker too. Hurray!
As always it's 'Bring your own beer (or wine)' which means you get a super bargainous night in comparison to paying bar prices. Salud! x

Randolph's Leap:
Glasgow-based melody merchants Randolph's Leap are an eight piece folk-pop outfit, recently signed to Fence Records (home to the likes of King Creosote, The Pictish Trail and Kid Canaveral).
Following on from the success of their debut EP, 'Battleships & Kettle Chips' on Olive Grove Records, 2012 saw the release of the band's album of home recordings, 'Randolph's Leap & The Curse of the Haunted Headphones' on limited edition cassette through Peenko Records. The album was hailed as a lo-fi triumph, showcasing "funny, poignant acoustic arias" (The List) and "emotional accessibility and sheer likeability" (Song By Toad). In the summer of 2012 the band released their career-spanning greatest hits collection 'Introducing Randolph's Leap'.
The band followed this up with another home-spun album called 'As Fast As A Man' (Peenko Records). In October of last year the band released the 'Hermit' EP, the first studio material to feature the full band, on Fence Records as part of their Buff Tracks 7-inch series.
The band have won over many new fans thanks to their appearances at T in the Park, Celtic Connections, Wickerman, Belladrum and Fence Records' HomeGame, AwayGame and Eye O'The Dug Festival. More recently the band featured in the Blog Sound of 2013 list and they were also tipped by Vic Galloway in Ones To Watch in 2013. In addition to this they have recently recorded a session for Marc Riley's 6Music show and in February they are due to play their biggest gig to date when they headline the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh.

The band's debut album received universally positive reviews, with The Skinny describing Shouting at Wildlife as "a thrilling, uplifting and generally all-round spiffing combination of indie-pop skills, lyrical wit, and choruses sung through smiles"[12] and The List praised the record for being "packed with singalong melodies, frisky jangles and a real sense of purpose. A jubilant and skilful racket."[13] The album was BBC Radio 1 Session in Scotland's Album of the Month for July 2010 and the album featured at, or near the top of a number of end of year lists and polls.
