Huw Warren has been one of most innovative pianists and composers on the UK scene for over 20 years; freely crossing styles and genres whilst retaining an individual voice. Having recently made his ECM debut with Quercus he returns to the Vortex with long term collaborator and wonderful guitarist John Parricelli. John and Huw were responsible for many great evenings at the Old Vortex (as leaders of the Vortex Quartet) and share a love of lyrical contemporary Jazz, deep grooves, and witty off- kilter compositions. They are joined by another long term collaborator, Dudley Phillips on Bass and promising young drum talent Zoot Warren.
