Brotherhood Of The Lake are five hopeless, misanthropic souls who have in the last few years endeavored to create a soundtrack to the social decline that surrounds us. With their debut self-titled EP released back in 2009 and the monstrous "Iron Sails" album a year later, 2012 brought a newly written collection of bleak, dark, and terrifying songs.

"Desperation Is The English Way Vol. 1" documents Brotherhood Of The Lake at their heaviest, darkest and most raw. Covering topics such as depression, desperation, religion and suicide, this is a new level of darkness and hope lost.

With 2013 comes the next step in the band's progression. "Desperation Is The English Way Vol. 2" is another giant slab of hate filled noise, even more filthy than it's predecessor. You have been warned.
