Rossini says of himself -
I started to play the classical guitar when I was 20 whilst studying for a degree in Engineering Science at St. Anne's College, Oxford. My teacher there was Gilbert Biberian who inspired me through his good guidance and sheer enthusiasm to take the guitar further once I had finished my degree. In 2005 I graduated with a First Class Honours and started working for an engineering company in South Wales, but later that year I applied to The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where I was accepted with a major scholarship.
Whilst at RWCMD I have won the John Mills Guitar Prize twice and have performed in many concerts in South Wales. I have sung bass in the BBC National Chorus of Wales and sing and play the guitar in the critically acclaimed Klezmer Kollectiv.
I play mainly the music of the 19th and 20th century, particularly the Spanish and Latin American composers such as Francisco Tarrega, Isaac Albeniz, Agustin Barrios Mangore and Fernando Sor.
