Negative Panda is excited to bring back OLYMPIANS to Cardiff with support from MY GREY HORSE and SCRIBER.

You may have worried that after our friends Barely Regal packed their bags and fucked off to London that Olympians might never grace a Cardiff stage again, but fear not they're coming back to play for the first time at Gwdihw!

OLYMPIANS
... With a hard-to-pin-down sound that includes math rock guitars and synth, barber-shop vocals and with a tinge of folky sounding brass, they build a complex yet pop-esque sound. At the heart of it all though they are basically massive geeks - which is why we love them! What other band starts their own book club (where you can get all their singles in a hollowed out book case) and names songs after famous literature.

MY GREY HORSE
Another hard-to-categorise band, My Grey Horse mix layered four-part harmonies, swirling guitars, and sweeping melodies to create a folksy indie pop sound. Their tracks have featured on BBC Introducing and 6Music and new EP Stop Before The Dry River has been given 5 stars by Artrocker, one to watch!
