The flagship e17 jazz large ensemble is a fantastically exciting band and a great way to finish the season. The line up features vocals, 5 saxophones (!),
3 trumpets, piano, guitar, bass and drums. It brings together some of the key players from previous gigs, together with other brilliant musicians associated with e17 jazz. The band was formed in 2009 by
Carlos Lopez Real and John Turville to open the inaugural Walthamstow Jazz Festival.
Tonight we will premiere an exciting new work written by composer/arranger Hans Koller.
