Watch House Unplugged is a new bi-monthly gig taking place at The Watch House Museum in Roker, Sunderland. The idea is to bring some high quality out of town acoustic acts to Sunderland and pair them up with excellent local support, and present them to an attentive audience in a nice venue.

For our second ever gig we're delighted to welcome EDWINA HAYES as headline - www.edwinahayes.com - "Haunting honeyed solo songwriter" - The Guardian

Edwina numbers Michael Parkinson and Perez Hilton among her fans. Her beautifully written songs and charming stage presence have won her a reputation as a true natural talent of gentle folk-americana. She has opened numerous shows for Jools Holland and Van Morrison and the title song of her album 'Pour Me A Drink' was covered by Nanci Griffith who calls her 'the sweetest voice in England'. Her cover of the Randy Newman song 'Feels Like Home' was featured in the Cameron Diaz film My Sister's Keeper and has since had over four million plays on You Tube

PAUL LIDDELL - www.paulliddell.com - "An artist in the full bloom of their creativity" - Folking

Paul is an experienced live performer with an unstoppable work ethic, clocking up on average 20 gigs a month both solo and with his band ‘Delphians’. Live, his singularly unique voice and unpretentious delivery combine with the use of live sampling, guitar percussion and layered vocal harmonies to provide a great platform for his wonderful songs to shine. Over the past few years Paul has opened shows for artists like Billy Bragg, Turin Brakes, Florence And The Machine, Calvin Harris, Beth Rowley, Nerina Pallot, Karine Polwart and Miles Hunt (The Wonder Stuff)
