Terry Christian is a legend. Born in Lancashire in 1960 he made his name hosting Channel 4's controversial youth programme "The Word". This show is an hilarious romp through his troubled inner-city Manchester childhood, baring all in his debut stand-up career and lifting the lid on his Catholic upbringing. When gang warfare in Moss Side is the least of your worries compared to sadistic nuns, paedophile priests, and your best mate is the school bully, is there any wonder Terry turned out as he did!?
