Stompin' Dave's Jazz & Blues Guitar Concert featuring HARRY SKINNER & DAVE SAUNDERS + DAVE MARCHANT(USA) + STOMPIN' DAVE ALLEN

A special concert to celebrate the myriad sounds of jazz & blues guitar as part of Lyme Regis Jazz, Blues and Real Ale Weekend will feature a great triple bill including award winning bluesmen Harry Skinner & Dave Saunders, superb jazz guitarist Dave Marchant and local favourite Stompin' Dave Allen.

Harry Skinner and Dave Saunders have played Blues and Jazz festivals across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Founding members of the award winning UK blues band The Producers, this duo began performing together in 1992. They have played at the Atlanta Blues Festival in the US and opened concerts for such musical giants as Fleetwood Mac's Peter Green, Taj Mahal, Albert Lee, Procol Harum, Jeff Healy and the Ray Charles Orchestra. They have recorded more than a dozen albums and perform a wide range of material; both covers and original, old and new.

Dave Marchant a graduate in guitar performance from Berklee College of Music, USA has been both a freelance musician and educator for many years. He has performed & recorded with the likes of Courtney Pine, John Stevens, Annie Whitehead, John Etheridge and many others. Dave has performed on BBC TV and Radio, festival appearances have included WOMAD, and London Jazz Festival. Dave studied with one of the world's favourite jazz guitarists - Jim Hall.
Bridport based Stompin' Dave Allen has performed across the UK and beyond including Glastonbury Festival, London Remix Festival, The Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival, Maverick Festival, Ealing Blues Festival, Southsea Folk & Roots Festival, and The Great Dorset Steam Fair to name a few. “Stompin’ Dave’s is a master of all kinds of American roots... a formidable musician and a true original.” The Daily Telegraph
