Come with us to the cotton mills of Coketown, 1840, to the darkest days of the Industrial Revolution, a world of poverty wages and rich bankers. And in Gradgrind’s School for Boys and Girls the harsh philosophy of Fact, Fact, Fact rules the day.
But where, amongst the smoking chimneys and crashing looms, is imagination to be found? And where is there room for love? Paper Zoo recreate Dicken’s classic tale with their trademark blend of humour and visual inventiveness.
