The SCO Chorus conducted by Gregory Batsleer perform this summer evening concert in the beautiful surroundings and generous acoustic of Edinburgh's Greyfriars Kirk.
The compelling programme includes Bernstein's inspirational Chichester Psalms, alongside evocative music by Arvo Pärt, James Macmillan, Olivier Messiaen and JS Bach. This will also be an opportunity to hear Lauridsen's haunting O Magnum Mysterium which the SCO Chorus recently performed live at sell-out shows with the Cuban ballet star Carlos Acosta.
"Outstanding singing from the SCO Chorus, who are turning into something of a crack team." Seen & Heard International, March 2013
