VIC RUGGIERO is a musician, songwriter and producer from New York City and the frontman of 'jamaican Rock and Roll' pioneers The Slackers.
His songs range from narrative ballads to whimsical tunes inspired by beat generation poets such as Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg.
He is primarily an organist although plays piano, bass, banjo, Guitar, harmonica and percussion.. often simultaneously during his live performances.
Vic has collaborated and performed with many well known bands and performers on stage and in the studio including Rancid, Chris Murray, Pink and the late Ari Up of The Slits.

Originally from Blackwood, Wales, SONGDOG are Lyndon Morgans (singer/songwriter and award-winning playwright), with Karl Woodward, Dave Paterson and Jasper Salmon. Songdog, who are decribed as Folk Noir, are all about the songs, whose delicate, stripped-down instrumentation surrounds intricate stories of life, love and loss.
Songdog's albums include 'A Life Eroding' (2010), 'A Wretched Sinner's Song' (2008), 'The Time Of Summer Lightning' (2005), 'Haiku' (2002) and 'The Way Of The World' (2000). They have received great press reviews and airplay on Jonathan Ross and Janice Long on BBC Radio 2, Gideon Coe on BBC 6Music and John Kennedy on XFM shows amongst others. Their cover of Dylan's 'Desolation Row' was commissioned specially for Uncut's 100th birthday issue covermount.
Fans include Robert Wyatt, Bruce Springsteen, who used their track 'Days of Armageddon' for "walk in music" on his European tour.
