Liverpool Music Awards 2012 - Live Music Night of the Year

Liverpool Acoustic Live for 24th May 2013 has four fantastic acts performing in the intimate View Two Gallery on Mathew Street.

CLARA BARKER
https://www.facebook.com/clarabarkermusic

Clara - rhymes with Sarah - Barker lives in the Isle of Man. She writes songs, sings songs, plays guitar, and spends too much time on the Internet. Her debut album Indigo was released in 2010 on Monochrome Records, followed by a live EP Hard Work & Whiskey, and the seasonal Christmas in New York, both in 2011.

She describes herself as a princess who likes telling stories, eating pies and pulling faces, but when you listen to Clara Barker's music you'll know that there's a lot more to this Manx artist. Her songs feature peace, fun, wisdom and all points in between.

ROB GOUGH
https://www.facebook.com/RobGoughOfficial

Rob Gough is an internationally renowned singer, songwriter, and lead guitarist from Liverpool, England. Drawing on a wide range of influences including blues, rock, country, folk and indie, Rob has supported such acts as Midge Ure, Sandi Thom and Sound of Dave. Since 2011 Rob has appeared at many festivals and performed at many of Britain's top music venues with critical acclaim from many within the music industry.

ADE JACKSON
http://www.reverbnation.com/adejackson13

'One of the great Liverpool voices... an unrelenting beat aesthetic and an ever weather-eye from the back streets. A bit of Cave, a bit of Cash, a soupcon of Cohen, and a whole lot of Catherine Street..." Jonathan Raisin, Lost Voices

'Arguably Liverpool's best beat poet.' Lisa Jones, HeartBeats

'Apparent love-child of John Lennon and a Navajo warrior, Jackson may read his dark and twisted verse as if he were playing a low-slung bass, but don't let the latent pose fool you. He still holds a gun to your head.' Nerve

'That's what they say. I'm just trying to get to heaven before they close the door...' Ade Jackson

JUST BY CHANCE
http://www.justbychance.net

Andy Jones met Liz Owen in Liverpool at the tail end of July 2009. In March 2010 they quite by accident played their first gig. Since then they have toured the British Isles, performed on BBC Radio Lancashire, had their music played on BBC 6Music and featured on a BBC Radio 2 program having supported the likes of Midge Ure and Joan Armatrading along the way.

Doors open at 8pm and the music runs from 8.30pm to just after 11pm. Unfortunately there is no disabled access as the venue is on the third floor of the gallery. There is a full bar, and it's an over 14 event.

Tickets are £5 in advance and £6 on the door.
