Tonight's two work-in-progress shows come from two stars of comedy - one we can tell you about, one we can't!

JOHN GORDILLO:
A welcome return visit to The Stoke from this veteran genius of the stand-up circuit: John has been a comedian since 1996, as well as directing touring comedy shows for everyone from Eddie Izzard to Reginald D Hunter. He's one of alternative comedies true masters, and is currently working on his first feature film, as well as this stand-up show: Cheap Shots At The Defenceless.

MYSTERY GUEST:
Mystery Guest has excelled in the comedy world for, ooh, years now. He or she has won countless awards, as well as appearing on TV shows like that thing, you know that one, oh and that one on that channel, along with panel shows like that one you saw the other night. "Brilliant", "Hysterical" and "Bewildering" are just three of the words that he/she knows.

The night runs from 8pm-10:30pm and features both acts doing longer sets. Expect work-in-progress, and possibly notes, but at a fraction of the price of their touring shows. £6 here, or £8 on the door.
