Hannah Kessler-detuned guitar strummed and bashed by Hannah then in comes a punky indie backing band which I didn't expect...in fact the band almost get Sabs like ...a blend of folkish femme singer songer and alt rock/pop that works well. Good crunching sound and she sits on top of it all nonchalantly. Emma Stevens- much heard on Radio 2 and eslewhere, fans of Eliie Goulding, Kate Bush and Stevie Nicks will all love the work of La Stevens. OtherPeoplesLives- Atmospheric ambient post- rock with a deeply soulful vocal, doesn't really sound like anyone, which is good, possibly Bon Ivor or Sihur Ros in places, really evocative stuff.
