The Prom in the Church

Barnet Band’s first concert of 2013 will be on 1 June at 7.30 pm in St Mark’s church in New Barnet and will help raise funds for vital repair work around the church organ.

The first half of the programme comprises a broad range of 20th Century music including ballet music, folk music, TV and film tunes, and even a hymn.

In the second half, it’s a ‘Last Night Of The Proms’ programme with music such as Elgar’s Pomp & Circumstance march, Henry Wood’s Fantasia on British Sea Songs, Holst’s Suite in F and, of course Jerusalem.
