Classical guitarist and historical performance specialist Toby Carr brings an exciting and original programme to the Brunel Museum. A journey through South America taking in Brazilian choros, Argentinian tangos and Venezuelan waltzes interspersed with solo sonatas and suites from the European baroque performed on both modern and baroque instruments. No prior knowledge of either of these contrasting styles is required and between the intoxicating rhythmic drive of the music of the new world and the poise and grandeur of music from the baroque masters, any fan of live music is sure to find plenty to their liking!
