The Inclusive Mosque Initiative presents its first conscious concert, a spoken word, nasheed, rap and music event! Happening in a beautiful church, showcasing interfaith and British Muslim artists, Rumi's Birthday Party uses fantastic sounds to celebrate the relevance of Rumi's message for today. As he said 900 years ago:

'Wonderer, worshipper, lover of leaving.
It doesn't matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come, even if you have broken your vow

Rumi's Birthday Party is a fundraising event with any profits going towards building an inclusive mosque space. This space will be welcoming to all, suitable for families and accessible to a variety of needs. Most importantly it will be a resource that assists the most disadvantaged across society, and engages everyone through its vision of inclusive Islam. For more information on our work, check out:
