Birmingham-born Shazia Mirza is a former winner of the Hackney Empire New Acts award, who has gone from strength to strength as a writer and comedian. She has toured the world and received rave reviews in the US (where she was a semi-finalist in 'Last Comic Standing'). She has also appeared on many TV and radio shows as well as two films.

Andy White is a Birmingham-based comedian who has appeared at all the leading comedy clubs in the country. Andy's humour embraces silly voices, funny faces, observational humour, topical humour and his mixed race background. He can do material that's clever, cheeky, sick or just silly.

Another Brummie, Steve Day, is a truly unique comedian - warm, witty and engaging while dealing with the dilemmas of being a deaf man in a hearing world. Steve went on his first national tour back in 2006, and has since been performing across the world to critical acclaim.

All three of these acts are used to taking centre stage at comedy gigs so it will be a fantastic evening at the Yardley Ex-Servicemen's Club.
