"Three roving/raving minstrels whose paths have crossed many times on long and varied journeys to find, to their surprise, they are still excited by playing, singing and performing together, share a tapestry of fascinating fortuitous fables and coincidences. Tawdry dressing-room anecdotes of long lost legends, hopeful and hopeless tales of life and loves and close-up insights into the web of intrigue, tenacity and luck that has sustained the three diverse 'careers' of Christine Collister, Dave Kelly and Peter Filleul.
Colouring the narrative is an eclectic collection of timeless songs evoking the hopes, dreams and disappointments that we all have shared. A unique collage of naturally presented emotions and hard won experiences laid bare in an unmissable evening of harmonious reflection."
Christine Collister, Dave Kelly & Peter Filleul
Close friends Christine, Dave and Peter have done 3 great tours together when touring with The Travelling Gentlemen, fronted by Collister & Kelly,
with Peter as the 3rd harmony vocal.
In September 2013 they are coming together again, this time to tour as a trio, where the stunning voices of Christine and Dave will be beautifully supported by Peter’s harmonies and piano. They will perform a host of their favourite songs - crossing every music genre; soul, blues, country and maybe a little folkabilly too. An evening packed with musicality, talent, emotion. ... and surely a little humour also.
“Christine Collister can sing the birds down off the trees and send them back with a tiny flick of her vocal chords.” Mojo
The Blues Band's Dave Kelly – his guitar and voice – great talent, great depth and a real sense of his roots. "Time Out"
Peter Filleul - the melodic backbone of the Climax Blues Band. “Melody Maker”
