Featuring a selection of rare footage and interviews with fans and those who knew him best, including his mother Francis, interviewed before her death.
The film has been on ongoing labor of love, financially assisted by fans in a huge internet campaign, from the team who have produced previous documentaries on William Castle, porn star Jack Wrangler and Vito Russo.
