Jealous Lovers Club Presents Deadverse / Without Maps

Very happy to be bringing Deadverse and Without Maps to Cardiff on September 17th.

DEADVERSE
Deadverse is a 4-piece band from the north eastern part of Switzerland. If having to put Deadverse into a genre, one would say they neither fit the punk nor the hardcore-genre, but like to wear a bit of both - a kind of revolution-summer style of hardcore I guess.
Following the likes of Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains, Hüsker Dü, Wipers, Jawbreaker, Hot Snakes or Kommando Sonne-nMilch just to name a few, Deadverse tries to stay independent in what they do, being it the song writing, or that little mixture you've maybe never heard before. Lyrically the band plays on social and political misgivings, and also personal day-to-day situations.
Their first self-titled 7-inch was released in February 2008, which was followed by a Split-CD with UNVEIL August 2009, and the very same songs on a 7-inch released by ARCTIC RADAR.
A short euro-trip with Fall Apart in 2009 finally got the band out of Swiss boundaries for the first time and in Spring 2010 Deadverse left for a lengthier European tour, covering countries like Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and France.

WITHOUT MAPS
Without Maps are a quartet from Nottingham. They combine powerful, shouted backing vocals and distinct, raw forefront vocals to exert a really fresh and infectious sound; continuing to reiterate this with their lively melodies and percussion.
"Noodly shouty post-hardcore jams".

ROUGH MUSIC
Rough Music started off as a duo before Oli joined on Bass. They had a brilliant response after playing Jealous Lovers Club on December 17th and we're happy to have the guys back!
They fucking love loud noises and describe themselves as 'loud and shouty'. They have amazing stage presence and are not ones to miss!
